Training and Capacity Building
Many globally-accepted project management tools and processes are underutilized in research. RPM workshops present tailored versions of the most relevant tools and processes
so that they work for innovative projects with high uncertainty. Suitable for all audiences, participants include Principal Investigators leading large grants, project directors/managers/coordinators,
research assistants, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students and early career researchers.
Individuals can register for workshops and courses developed by Prof. Paprica in partnership with the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Please visit
https://learn.utoronto.ca/ and search for "research project management" to see current offerings. Universities, research institutes, and other organizations can work with RPM to develop their own customized, sychronous, online training that can integrate examples from the team's or institution’s own projects.
Coaching and Other Services
A range of services are available including one-on-one coaching for Principal Investigators/Project Leads, meeting facilitation services, planning and implementation support for research teams,
project kick-off support, project health checks, and review of grant applications. Please note that RPM does NOT provide grant writing or grant development services.
